Styling help: What to wear to a Renaissance faire
Senden Sie Ihre Körpergröße sowie Brust- und Taillenumfang an support@larplay.com, damit wir Ihnen vor der Bestellung eine Größe empfehlen können. So messen Sie richtig: siehe unseren Größenberater.
A handmade longline overbust corset in cotton, built in three layers and shaped with spiral steel bones through the body and flat steel bones at the front and back. A sweetheart neckline sits over the bust, the long torso reaches over the hips to a point at the front, a steel busk closes the front and the back laces up.
Wear it over a chemise at a Renaissance faire, or with a long skirt for Victorian, steampunk and gothic looks.
Details
- Cotton outer fabric backed with cotton interfacing and fully lined in cotton: three layers in all
- Spiral steel bones through the body, flat steel bones at the front and back
- Overbust cut with a sweetheart neckline
- Longline torso that reaches over the hips, with a pointed front hem
- Steel busk at the front
- Laces up the back through nickel-plated brass eyelets
- A modesty panel behind the back lacing
- Twill waist tape sewn inside to take the strain at the waist
- Comes with about 9 m (10 yd) of lacing cord
- Black, wine red or dark blue
- Packed weight: about 0.8 kg (1.8 lb)
How to put it on
Loosen the back laces well first. Wrap the corset around you and close the steel busk from the top down. Pull the back laces in a little at a time, working from the top and the bottom towards the waist, then tie them. To take it off, loosen the back laces before you open the busk.
Our note: Pick your size by your natural waist, and check your bust in the chart too, since this corset covers the bust. The maker cuts each corset about 4 in (10 cm) smaller than the waist it is made for, shown as the corset waist in the chart, so it shapes your waist when laced. If you are new to steel boned corsets, lace it gently at first and wear it for a few hours at a time.
